Yawn!!

I am at work right now having a hard time trying to stay awake. I slept a good 7 hours of hard sleep last night. Didn’t even wake up once. That is very rare for me. I usually wake up at least once per night to look at the clock.
The alarm went off this morning and I was more tired than when I went to bed. So I got up and got ready. Didn’t have enough time to do my makeup so I tossed it all in my purse and came to work.
I finally got my makeup done and have been sitting here exhausted and freezing cold. I sit by the windows. It is quite chilly outside today and I can feel the cold through the windows. This is going to be a LONG winter….sigh.
I took a cat nap on my first break. I think that I actually dozed off for a bit. Now my back hurts from slumping down in my seat so that I could rest my head. I need to get a travel pillow to keep at work.
We aren’t getting any business calls today so there is a LOT of down time. But I am stuck at my desk because I have to wear a headset. And my phone doesn’t ring. It beeps in my headset. I call my headset my tether. I doubt we will ever get wireless ones.
I am looking forward to the day being over so that I can go home and take a nap. I don’t have any plans tonight and D will be at his dad’s.
I have to mow my lawn tomorrow for the last one of the season. I am getting some winterizing weed and feed so that my grass doesn’t look like such a weed patch next year. I hate yard work. If I had thought about the yard work and snow shoveling I don’t think that I would ever have bought a house.
Anyone wanna hang out this weekend? I have a feeling I am going to be pretty bored.

My God, Rachel, I thought for a second that I was channeling my feelings onto your blog! I'm sitting here at MY desk, tired, wanting to crawl under my desk and sleep if there was enough room, freezing, sitting by the window that can't open, but the cold is coming through anyway...And I slept hard too last night. No plans for Friday, and that's okay. I'm going to work out and then do some junk food grocery shopping. :) TGIF!

Tara ~ That is hilarious. At least I am not the only one that is exhausted. Right now it is pouring down rain and is pretty dark outside. This is the perfect day to stay in your pajamas with a warm blanket, hot chocolate and a good book.

I have a book (I don't know if it's good or not) and working out at the gym on my agenda this weekend... what else should I fill that in with? I hope I just don't sit around want watch sports... but that's probably what I'll do. The Chinese Grand Prix is on... + baseball, football, soccer... oh my!

Ouch... your day is as good as mine. I slept hard last night, but didn't get to bed until about 11:00 and I have a bedtime (set by ME) of 9:00 - I need sleep. I'm looking forward to my weekend of mowing the lawn, taking the guns out to play and tearing out some cabinets. I'll be woke up in about 4 hours when I pick up 3 boys from school - oh boy here I go again.

reformat ~ I am lucky that I get to go home and nap after work today. No kid this weekend. By saturday evening I do tend to get bored though. Will have to see if one of my friends is free to do something or maybe hit the cinema by myself.

l.b. ~ Welcome to my blog. Today was a wierd day because I am so darn tired. It isn't usually so random. Come back anytime.

I agree about the pain of doing yard work. That is one of the perks to selling & moving to a condo. I shouldn't complain, at least we didn't have to shovel snow. Hope you have a great/restful weekend.

Hope you had a restful weekend Rachel, and will feel less tired by Monday morning. Most times I also feel very tired in the mornings, even though I have had a good night's sleep, we must have very tiring dreams maybe!

Freckle ~ You are lucky that you don't have to shovel but if you had a house you would probably have to mow all year right?

Erica~ I had a good weekend. I will blog about it soon.

Verge ~ Welcome to my blog!!! South Africa has a big party scene on Sundays? Sounds like crazy fun!
