Love the list! I can only wish I had an annual raise :-( and I wish I had vacation - I have to wait until July 5th before I have another week of vacation. Sucks! That was the biggest draw back of leaving my old job after 6 years, I had built up 3 weeks of vacation. Here you get 1 week, that's it!! :-( I was hoping the working at home part would make that seem like less of a blow - but it still bothers me. Happy New Year Rachel!

Yusss! No more holiday sweaters! Life IS good! :D

I received one gift card this year, and that puppy was spent in a heartbeat. I bought the movie "Hitch" and "The Exorcism of Emily Rose".

Also love the idea that my vacation days have been replenished. And I think I'll use my tax refund towards a trip to Canada to visit my nephew!

I'm going to be honest with you, I love the holiday sweaters, I may be wearing mine until at least March.

The only that would make it better is if there was another holiday before Memorial Day. :)

Reformat ~ I don't know if working from home would make up for only 1 week of vacation. I have 3 weeks and 3 personal days.

Tara ~ I HATE holiday sweaters. There was a woman at work who had one that had a battery pack and had lights that actually lit up. UGH!!

Eric ~ You are a sick, sick man..lol

Freckle ~ No kidding. If we worked for the government we could look forward to President's Day.

Moment ~ I have been chomping at the bit for the new episodes of Heroes to start back. I still have 3 weeks to go.

Rachel,
Great Blog! I saw your comment on mine and decided to take a look and ended up reading the whole thing! It must be great to be a member of Mars Hill. I will have to settle with the podcast, but thats cool.

Tell Rob I'm waiting for the sequal. Maybe he can call it 'Dogs Playing Poker' or some other velvet painting.

Reojames ~ Your blog is pretty cool too. I enjoyed it. Thanks for the compliment.

Ash ~ Believe me, mine isn't anything to write home about. It usually pays for the increase in our medical insurance.

I'm just glad that International Husbands-Must-Clean-the-Toilet Year is over.

I was shocked when my wife explained to me that the UN had the power to do that.

Then, last nite, when we agreed to go back to fifty/fifty on the ol' crapper detail, she told me about this new National Husbands-Must-Give-Foot-Massages Year.

We men gotta get a lobbyist or something.
