Snow, Snow, More Snow & A Crazy Cat

I thought I would take a couple of photos from my front door so that you could see what is happening in my neck of the woods.

This photo shows my sidewalk and side yard from my front door. As you can see there is a trail and I haven't yet shoveled. I hate shoveling more than I hate mowing. If I would have thought about the maintenence before I bought my house I would still be renting. The white sparkles are snowflakes.

This is my crazy cat Ashen. She is forever trying to get outside and when I was taking photos in the doorway she escaped. Now I can't get her back inside. I figure that when she gets cold enough she will meow at the door. I won't close the main door (glass door is closed) until she is back inside.

Nice latenight snow pics! I hate shoveling and mowing too. Those rank right up there with cooking and gardening.

The liberated women is a sad thing.

I like the pics! Hope your cat eventually came in out of the cold. No snow here, but strong winds that did let up yesterday but are back again today. Roll on Spring!

The sparkles on the snow are pretty. They remind me of when my friends and I would eat the Certs mints in the dark, and the crunching would cause sparks. Did you ever try that? At least I think it was Certs..either that or the mint Life Savers. But it happened, I tell ya!

Beautiful cat. Did she finally realize it's warmer in the house and come back in?

She is a gorgeous cat, she looks so similar to my cat in Rome - I must post a picture soon. Her name is Miciolina.

It looks so beautiful the snow, I wish it would snow a bit more in London. It does, but only twice a year and then it never settles or lasts anyway.

brrr... I'm so glad we don't have that snow right now. We're usually buried.

Yesterday it snowed here for the first time all winter. There were car accidents galore, people can't handle the snow around here. Granted it was over 70 degrees on Monday and less than a week later it was snowing, that will mess with your head a little bit.

SML ~ I don't mind cooking. I actually enjoy cooking for other people.
I hate gardening more than shoveling snow or mowing the lawn. That may be why I have no plants in my yard except for 1 tree.

Anon ~ Shut up Dennis! LOL

Lydia ~ Ashen came in the house about 30 minutes after I wrote this post. She was definitely ready to come in.

Tara ~ I never tried the Certs or mint Lifesavers thing. I will have to try that.

Erica ~ She is a beautiful cat and she is a total cuddle bug too. I have to shut my bedroom door or she will be literally on top of me at night.

Reformat ~ It is only going to get colder here. I am not looking foward to it.

Eric ~ It doesn't matter where you live. When the first snow comes people drive like idiots.

I love the way the snow flakes light up! I hate snow, but it is pretty from the inside (inside of my computer that is)

I think I prefer pictures of snow to actually having to shovel it or drive in it. It really does look pretty...and your cat is lovely too!
