D's First Blog Post

I had D read all of the comments that you all made from the post titled A Letter. He wanted to write a reply to you and so here is his very first blog post. Just so you know, I have NO idea why he wrote that P.S.

Am I really a wonderful son?! I had no idea.
By the way our assignment was that, we had to say:
the important thing about my/the *your choice* is that (the “that” is optional)/the (your choice.)
Then we had to tell 3 things about what was so important. Then the wrap up is the same thing as the lead, but you had to add a “but” to the beginning.

As I was saying, I have never had so many complyments. There is so many that I am bearly about to cry (I am not going to cry, but you almost made me.)

Wow, D! Great post.

Yeah, we know a lot about you (but nothing you should be embarrassed about.) We know that you are a terrific kid, that your mother is justifiably proud of you, and that she does everything she can to help you become all you need to be as you're growing into a man.

And...we can tell you're going to be a great one. It has been said that if you want to see how a man will treat you, look at the way he treats his mother. The girl in your life will be a lucky one.

And it doesn't hurt that you're very fine-looking, as well--not that I'd expect anything else from a mother so beautiful--in every way.

Have a great day. You and your mom brighten mine every time I come here.

Great post. Did you type it yourself? When Monkeyboy in DC wants to post a note on my blog he dictates and I type for him. If your typing skills are good enough to type this post yourself, in under a week, my hat's off to you.

I think you may have a new nickname:

Chok Boy. :)

Is Bok Choy like when Gilbert Arenas yells Hibachi after he makes a shot? If so its pretty awesome and I might have to start using it.
