6 Wierd Things About Me

I have been tagged by so many people for this meme that I can't even mention them all. Since I am training someone at work today will be the perfect day for me to do this list as it will only take a couple of minutes.

1. When I was in kindergarten I had to have an oil gland surgically removed from the bottom of my foot. (they are normally in your head)

2. I was asked by an oral surgeon how long I had braces on my teeth because they were very straight. I haven't ever had braces.

3. I will only drink Diet Pepsi if I am drinking a cola. Not Diet Coke, not generic, not anything else. I will drink water instead.

4. I was born with one ear sticking slightly out because the cartiledge isn't strong enough to hold it back. I begged my mom for plastic surgery when I was 15. Now I don't care.

5. My favorite features are my eyelashes which are really long and thick and my nose.

6. I have always wanted to go to the opera. The real one where you dress formally and make a big production out of it ala Pretty Woman, but have never had the opportunity.

The opera where you look into fancy binoculars? Yeah, I'd like that too. I've just been to musicals. They're fine, but I've never been to the opera.

Great list Rachel. I too have very long eyelashes. I once had a lady ask if she could pull on them because she didn't believe me when I said yes they are real. My son also got them from me - they are gorgeous!

I think I can say with confidence that my eyelashes are longer and thicker than yours... not that I'm braggin' or anything =;-)

I assume it must be a bad thing to have an oil gland in the bottom of your foot? (as opposed to your head apparently)

Tara ~ Exactly. It would be fun to get all spruced up for a night and attend such a sophisticated event.

Baby~ I really want to see Josh Groban in February but I don't think that I can swing the tickets.
Thanks for adding me to your blogroll.

Reformat ~ I have gotten asked if my eyelashes were fake in the past.

MiniJonB~ You are just jealous because mine are dark and yours are all grey...lol
Yours are super long and thick too.

ElRanito ~ It made a bump in the bottom of my foot that was painful to walk on. Other than that it was harmless.

I have sad little stubby eyelashes, but they show up because they are dark. I wish I had loooong ones. I would also love to go to the opera, I think. I would make sure to find out the plot before hand so that I could follow along with what was going on.

The opera, now that would be cool. Shoot, I should have mentioned in that meme that I'd love to go see a ballet show (I'm serious!)... Well, maybe it's better to keep that info away from my friends.

l.b. ~ My mom has really stubby eyelashes too. I must have gotten them from my biological father.

Sebastien ~ The opera and the ballet? That just shows that you have a desire to broaden your horizons. Who care's what your friends think.

Anon1 ~ I have absolutely no doubt about that one.

Freckle ~ His teeth are straight but he does have a very slight overbite. The dentist is hoping that he will grow into it. It isn't obvious at all.

Did you ever slip and fall while walking barefoot because of the extra oil gland in your foot?

Rachel said...

Eric ~ LOL. The oil gland was below the surface and didn't actually manufacture oil as it was not connected to anything. It just kinda traveled around for a while and finally made it's home in my foot.
It really just looked like a hard bump on the bottom of my foot.
