Hump Day Hottie

Trying a new format. Let me know what you think.
1. Born on September 11, 1967 in New Orleans, LA.
2. Provided the soundtrack for the movie When Harry Met Sally.

3. Made his screen debut in Memphis Belle.
4. In 1990 his double platinum album titled We Are in Love earned him his second consecutive Grammy for Best Jazz Male Vocal.

5. Was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe in 1991 for his song contribution to the Godfather III soundtrack.

6. Was arrested in 1992 and charged with having a 9 mm pistol in his possession at JFK international airport. After spending a day in jail, he agreed to make a public-service television commercial warning against breaking gun laws. The court agreed to drop all charges if he stayed out of trouble for six months.

7. Has appeared in the following movies: Memphis Belle, Little Man Tate, Copycat, Independence Day, Excess Baggage, Hope Floats, Wayward Son, My Dog Skip, The Simian Line, Life Without Dick, Basic, Mickey, & Bug.

8. His albums range from Swing, Traditional Pop, Pop Rock and Jazz-Funk.

9. He is married to model Jill Goodacre and has 3 daughters and currently resides in Connecticut.

10. As a native son of New Orleans, he spent several days touring the city, to draw attention to the plight of the stranded citizens and also helped organize and appeared in the NBC live telethon for relief in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

THIS is one I can totally agree on....yummy. That voice is pure velvet and the eyes are magnetic, and he was the very best thing about "Hope Floats."

You got good taste, chica!

You didn't so much want birthday wished in the previous blog post, so here they are in this one: "Happy Birthday".

As for "Jr", yes this one where I know who he is, and I've seen ID4.

Anything you put Harry Connick Jr. on I will be a fan of, for life, probably. Excellent choice.

I got it on clue #2

Another movie: His voice is featured in the animated film "The Iron Giant"

His father, Harry Connick, Sr. was the long-time district attorney in New Orleans.

His wife, former Victoria's Secret model Jill Goodacre, also has a prominent parent, sculptor Glenna Goodacre, whose works include the statue dedicated to the nurses of the Viet Nam War, at "the Wall", here in Washington.

Another grrrrrreat choice for HDH
