Unless of course the person is already a "skinny minny" to begin with and just thinks they need to loose weight.<BR/><BR/>When I hit the diet trail I like to start out with the South Beach Diet, mainly because Carbs are not my friend and I get a quick jump start. I stay on this for 2 weeks and then slowly add back in fruit, dairy and whole grain, brown rice, etc. Works for me....I have lost 10 pounds since Sunday. It is much harder to lose weight when you focus on how much you have to go rather than how much you have lost so far. I think that was one of the hardest things about dieting for my wife.
